I like this character Apollos. It's interesting to me how even someone who was already very learned had something more to learn and he took it in humbly. I believe it was that teachable spirit that made the apostles so quick to endorse him to go on a teaching mission of his own.
I really want to be like that. Learned yet learning. I want to always be in a place in my heart where I receive correction with humility and openness. I think Paul (or God for that matter) wouldn't have had as much use for some know-it-all scholar/preacher. I appreciate Luke again for including this detail.
