Revelation 22

This morning we got to start the day off with worship led by the Fort Worth and Tulsa worship leaders. I was surprised when the second song was the old hymn, "I'll Fly Away." I didn't really expect it to affect me so deeply but I found myself crying tears of joy. I just can't wait. Verse 17 of this chapter really sums up how I feel. Thirsty. Wishing. Come, Lord Jesus, Come. I'll leave you with the lyrics. Feel the joyous, glorious awe in them and imagine bowing at His feet singing this to him.

Some bright morning when this life is over
I'll fly away
To a land on God's celestial shore
I'll fly away

When the shadows of this life have gone
I'll fly away
Like a bird from these prison walls I'll fly
I'll fly away

Oh how glad and happy when we meet
I'll fly away
No more cold iron shackles on my feet
I'll fly away

Just a few more weary days and then
I'll fly away
To a land where joy will never end
I'll fly away

I'll fly away oh glory
I'll fly away
When I die hallelujah by and by
I'll fly away
