Hebrews 7

OK so all about priests then. Not my idea of a favorite chapter. But I guess the main beauty of Paul's point (to an audience who was all about priests) is the picture of Jesus it painted for them. I mean think about it. Every part of the whole priesthood system has Jesus written all over it. Not only is He our High Priest, our go-between that makes us right with God, but He's also the sacrifice itself. He is the Tabernacle by being God's vehicle for living among us. All of the details that would have been so real and tangible for a Hebrew audience may not mean that much for us today. But this role of Jesus is an important one to embrace still I think.
