So here we are at the summit. At Jerusalem. Worshiping in the temple. The psalms of ascent end with this brief little blip of a psalm. But do you come to God's House with this same process? Of preparing your heart and mind and getting ready for worship? I rarely do. I love it once I'm there, but I often rush past the majesty of it all.
I'm going to end with the lyrics to a song that this psalm reminded me of from my childhood. A simple easy-listening, almost hippie kind of song by some guy named Dallas Holm. (That was a link just then to You Tube to listen to it with the lyrics BTW.)
