Nehemiah 12

Now that's what I call Thanksgiving! Seriously, just think about this today: What would happen if the Church in your country celebrated and honored God and gave thanks with this much fanfare and production? I think the Hebrew version Nehemiah and crew came up with was a lot more God-honoring than holing up with your family with turkey and sports on TV and shopping plans.

It's too late this year to pull off any kind of decent Thanksgiving parade like this (Macy's doesn't count), but seek God about how He'd really like to be thanked. Maybe this day will be the most thankful Thanksgiving you've ever had. I'm going to start praying right now for mine to be anyway. This chapter's Thanksgiving just puts us all to shame. :)

So don't have a happy Thanksgiving, try to have a holy one instead. :)
